Venetsanos Winery Liastos. Red wine naturally sweet from sundried grapes. Grape variety Mandilaria 100%. Tawny color and a distinct nose of dried fig, plum, and spices. A viscous wine with luscious texture. The ripe berry balances on a graceful acidity lace. Warm, fleshy, and firm with concentrated aromas of raisin, cinnamon, and jammy red fruits.
Enjoy it at 8-10 °C.
Overripe grapes are sundried for 7-15 days. Then destemmed and pressed. The sweet red juice ferments slowly for more than 2 months in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After the end of the fermentation, the naturally sweet wine is transferred to oak barrels in order to mature for several years.
Aging potential: Unlimited.
