Venus La Universal Venus de La Cartoixa
Venus La Universal Venus de La Cartoixa. Venus de cartoixà is a very special wine for us because we pursue a very ambitious objective: to make a big white Mediterranean natural ageing wine.
Grapes come from half an acre old vines, 60 years old. They grow in clay-calcareous (argilocalcaris) soil, from Falset area.
It is a natural wine, which fermentates in a 600L barrel during 3 and 6 months. It ages 12/14 months in the same barrel and then it is aged into the bottle at least for 2 years more.
