Our winery was founded in 2000 at a time when our family was discussing whether to sell the beautiful vineyards surrounding the house where I grew up.
No writer could have better invented the story of Elena Fucci and her wine Titolo. Elena grew up in a house that stood amidst her grandfather’s vineyards. Like her brothers, she wanted to study and leave the rather lonely area. When the first buyers came to the door to visit the vineyards, she changed her mind, convinced grandfather and father to keep the vineyards, commuted some time between her university in Pisa and Basilicata, came back as a doctor of oenology and founded a vineyard where she produced only one wine. And what a guy! Titolo. For years one of the highest awarded wines in Italy.
