Avantis Estate Agios Chronos
Avantis Estate Agios Chronos. Syrah 92% – Viognier 8%. Dark ruby colour, nose of intense complex bouquet, aroma of violet, liquorice and red fruit. Spicy rich palate, delicate fine grained velvet tannins, slightly high acidity. High flavor intensity of apricots, nicely mixing with sweet red fruit, spices and long finish.
The wine is the result of a combination of two noble varieties, Syrah and Viognier, the way people do it in the district of North Rhone. It is produced by people who share their eagerness and a vision to create a ‘Great’ wine from Euboea.
“Agios (Holy) is the time that helps fine wine develop and become Great, as holy is time that teaches us how to make Wine”.

Aging: 10 years.
Unfiltered wine. Any amount of sediment in the bottle is quite normal. It is recommended to be decanted 30 minutes before consumed.
