Arlekinon Chora Archegonos Grand Cuvee
Arlekinon Chora Archegonos Grand Cuvee. Based on an extremely stylish variety of Limniona. Adopting the wine making process of amarone, dehydrate the grapes in the shade for about 20 days. Fruit maturity, complexity and volume characterize the Archegonos Grand Cuvee. A decanting is necessary at least half an hour before enjoying it to unfold all its complexity.
At the southernmost tip of Thessaly and specifically at the foot of Mount Nartaki (Ancient Phthia), at 380 meters above sea level, lies the privately owned vineyard of the Arlekinon Chora Winery.
Cultivation of the vineyard is certified organic and dry farming, producing very low yields and a limited number of bottles, with a focus on superior quality.
Each bottle from the estate comes from our dry-cultivated vines, with controlled production up to 6000 kilos per hectare. The altitude of 380 meters above sea level and the arid soil are responsible for the proper phenolic ripening, drainage and condensation of the grapes.
All products have been certified organic since 2003 and awarded at prestigious international competitions (Decanter, Berliner Wine Trophy).
