Villaforte Barolo DOCG. Ruby red. Aromas of cherry, rose petals, with beginning of maturity, tobacco and vanilla. Elegant and rich, fresh fruit-flavored taste with a distinctive character of cherry, dark spices and chocolate. Balanced acid combined with smooth tannins and delicate oak character. Excellent food wine, pairs perfectly with dishes of veal or creamy mushroom risotto with truffles and matured cheeses from the region of Piemonte.

Production and maturation: The grapes are hand-picked from Barolo (Langhe, Piemonte) and matured for two years in large Slavonian oak barrels and thereafter rested one year in the bottle.
