We met them in 2017 during our wine trip to Northern Spain in Ribera del Duero and Rioja. It was the 1st season that they opened after a complete reconstruction of the winery. It was a memorable experience, one of the best from all the wine trips that we have been in the last years. The physical location of the vineyards, in between hills, protects the vines from extreme weather conditions. allowing them to grow and ripe at their very best. Their wines are quite intense in aromas balancing the fruit aromatic character with that of the oak, producing superior quality wines. Our experience included a 5 course michelin star lunch inside the winery, and to our surprise, they were not afraid to prepare out of the box food and wine pairing courses that enhanced the experience even further.
