Lacules Merlot
Lacules Merlot. An exquisite and generous Merlot from the winery that until recently was one of the very well-hidden secrets of the Greek vineyard. Dark color, almost impermeable violet. Explosive nose with black chocolate, coffee, plum and sweet spices such as vanilla and clove. Full and exuberant in the mouth with rich but soft tannins, balancing acidity and very long aftertaste. It will become better after 3-5 years in the cellar but is already enjoyable.
The microclimate at Lacules Estate is influenced by the Mediterranean climate, the coastal proximity and the terrace viticulture. It grows grapes that produce wines with balanced acidity, fine textures, deep concentration, and the capacity to age.
